New York State Energy Research & Development Authority (NYSERDA) is a driving force in realizing this agenda.

Job Overview
To assist in achieving these goals, NYSERDA leverages staff augmentation resources to provide expertise and additional bandwidth to staff.
NYSERDA seeks a qualified and highly motivated professional to manage end-to-end oversight of this resource pool.
The successful candidate will have a blend of experience in vendor and operations management.
Occasional travel within NYS is required.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide process guidance, advice and understanding of contracted-based resource options to staff in evaluating resourcing options
Facilitate the staff augmentation resource selection process from approval to onboarding
Screen experience and rates of proposed staff augmentation resources and validate with industry and NY State standards and trends
Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and develop robust reporting within NYSERDA systems
Update and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures
Assist in resolving performance issues of staff augmentation resources
Effectively manage risk and perform risk analyses and recommend mitigating options
Manage vendor agreements to ensure budget, performance and contractual obligations are met
Perform other responsibilities as necessary
Minimum Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in a related field, or 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
Experience in vendor and operations management
Experience and skill in conflict resolution, performance, and personnel management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently
Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy in all duties
Skill in managing multiple diverse activities simultaneously, delivering on commitments, and operating with speed, accuracy, and strong judgment
A strong consensus-builder with an ability to build productive relationships across a diverse organization
Great resourcefulness and an instinct for surfacing value and pragmatic solutions
Ability to quickly identify and drive to the best possible solution when presented with a series of opportunities and constraints
Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external customers/vendors
Proficient with Microsoft O365 Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, MS Teams) and comfortable learning and leveraging software applications
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with relevant Human Resources management (employment law, ethics, and conflict resolution)
