Job Description .
SUMMARY: Reporting to the Grants Manager in the College for Education and Engaged Learning, the Post-Awards Facilitator works with faculty and staff members in the College for Community Health serving as Principal Investigators (Pls) on external grants to provide support related to budget, purchasing, reporting and record keeping.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide post-award support to external grant recipients and account management through use of the Workday Financial Management System.
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of expenditure reports in conjunction with Grants Accounting.
Work with appropriate departments to gather data for reports and to ensure that proper records are maintained.
Coordinate purchasing, perform online requisitioning, and ensure prompt payment when merchandise is received or services rendered.
Track and retrieve budget information on Workday and from other sources.
Provide training and assistance to CCHL staff and other non-grant recipients regarding procedures and guidelines.
Independently maintain departments for non-grant related, Principal Investigator Indirect Cost (IDC) funds.
Plan and create budgets for IDC-funded projects and activities.
Maintain a clear line of written and verbal communication with staff and other departments in order to make recommendations for a variety of service, budgetary, and administrative issues.
Supervise the fiscal activity for IDC-funded accounts; review income: identify problems and take steps necessary to correct the reported data.
Analyze and interpret applicable principles, federal and/or state laws and regulations in the course of managing external grants and unrestricted IDC funds.
Maintain essential and confidential records for IDC-funded activities.
Compile and analyze indirect cost revenue and other financial data.
Prepare informative summaries containing findings, conclusions, and recommendations for CCHL Dean, Finance & Treasury Division, and Provost on enhancements for project budgeting and for Workday Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university A minimum of three years of work experience in higher education and/or grant/funding organizations Superior interpersonal skills and ability to work well with faculty, staff, and external funding representatives.
Excellent organizational skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word Ability to quickly learn new technologies and applications.
PREFERRED: Master’s degree in health sciences or related disciplines.
