This position is outsourced with a major international investment bank.
The Entry Level Receptionist is responsible for greeting and interacting with visitors and associates of the bank at the main lobby.
The Receptionist will check in guests using a visitor management program, and contact hosts to meet their clients in the lobby and escort them to the designated meeting place.
It is imperative that the Receptionist has a general idea of the bank's business, knows the Key Players, and continually builds business relationships that demonstrate our commitment to a 'best in class' service experience.
The ideal candidate should be passionate about corporate customer service, great at making personal connections with guests, and provide 'best in class' service during every interaction.
Job Responsibilities
* Greeting and directing clients, guests and vendors in a friendly and professional manner
* Making certain all guests are received in an efficient manner utilizing our guest check in application
* Ensure each guest shows proper identification and is issued a visitors pass following company protocols
* Flexibility to assist with other reception areas within the company when necessary
* Use of company applications and tools for placing tickets related to IT, facilities and guest services
* General administrative support as needed
Skills required
* Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and service skills - must have a polite and professional demeanor and phone presence
* Strong time management skills, ability to multitask and prioritize in a demanding professional environment
* Proficient in a PC environment, particularly MS Office and Outlook
* Possess strong written and oral communication skills with an attention to detail
* Stand in the lobby providing a warm welcoming greeting to associates and guests entering the office.
* Must be adaptable to both very busy and slow guest traffic patterns, be able to sit for hours at a time, and stay focused on company policies and protocols
