page Duties will include but not be limited to: Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: - Support project management within the Grants Management Unit, within the Bureau of Grants Management and Administration, and with funded programs across the Agency, including tracking ongoing communication, reminders, follow-ups, and next steps related to a variety of deadlines, grant deliverables, and project implementation.
- Assist with the development of new and continuation grant applications to support citywide public health emergency preparedness and response activities, services, and planning by working in conjunction with subject matter experts/ program leads throughout the Agency, tracking completion of various sections by assigned staff, and editing and finalizing applications.
- Assist with the development of grant progress reports by tracking completion of various sections by assigned staff, ensuring submissions include concrete outputs and/or outcomes, and editing and finalizing progress reports.
- Assist with project initiation and tracking by managing review process and communicating with various stakeholders about vendor solicitation or scope of work development for grant-funded projects and maintaining tracking tools to monitor the contract execution process.
- Provide ongoing programmatic and administrative support to program staff coordinating recurring meetings to elicit program updates and identify issues and next steps, and by providing guidance to staff as needed on grant compliance.
- Assist with developing and documenting processes and identifying timelines to enhance grant compliance and more effectively initiate and implement grant-funded emergency preparedness projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Skills: The ideal candidate will have experience in grant management and reporting, coordinating projects involving multiple stakeholders, as well as familiarity with financial concepts.
Must demonstrate excellent communication (verbal & written) and ability to manage large datasets of qualitative information.
Must have the ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment with hard deadlines; strong organizational, interpersonal, problem-solving and analytical skills.
Must have strong attention to detail and be solutions-oriented with communication, collaboration and customer-service skills.
