PROGRAM AND JOB DESCRIPTION: The Division of Family and Child Health (DFCH) of the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene is charged with the creation and oversight of programs, policies, services, and environments that support physical and socio-emotional health, and promote primary and reproductive health services, health equity, social justice, safety and well-being for New York City families and children.
The Division is comprised of the Bureau of Maternal Infant and Reproductive Health, the Bureau of Early Intervention, the Office of School Health, and the Bureau of Administration.
The vision of the DFCH is that every child, woman, and family recognize their power and is given the opportunity to reach their full health and development potential.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO: * Maintain correspondence with MSCI, MIH, and FPS contractors as needed.
Review monthly, quarterly, and yearly documents produced by the CBOs, PHS and CAI.
* Monitor contracts assigned by Team Leader or CLU Manager to ensure CBO deliverables activities and project measures implemented as planned and provide supports and resources as needed for contracted CBO.
* Respond to requests from assigned CBOs contracted through MSCI, MIH, and FPS to troubleshoot and provide technical support.
* Review scopes and budgets and approve payments of contracts assigned by Team Leader or CLU Manager.
* Work closely with units within BMIRH and Family Child Health on contracting processes as it relates to procurement, funding and developing new initiatives.
* Ensure all key documents (e.
g.
, scopes of work, presentations, correspondence, reports) related to Program are saved on an agency shared drive or other platform (e.
g.
, RedCap) so they are accessible to appropriate internal and external partners as needed.
* Attend monthly collaborative planning meetings with PHS and CAI and participate in coaching calls, webinars, coordination of training , and other activities designed to support the CBOs contracted through MSCI, MIH, and FPS.
* Share information with MSCI, MIH, and FPS contractors on events, funding opportunities and DOHMH institution-specific policies and procedures that are related to their work.
* Participate in community meetings/events virtual or in person with assigned contractors and stakeholders at the neighborhood level to promote community engagement.
* Attend 1-2 in-person or virtual site visits with assigned contractors from MSCI, MIH, and FPS to observe and report on activities, as public health situation allows.
* Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
