In this critical role, you’ll be a vital part of our finance team, working to ensure the smooth operation of our company’s financial engine.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.
• Regularly maintain detailed records of accounting transactions.
• Perform monthly bank settlements.
• Stay compliant with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements.
• Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
• Use bookkeeping software, spreadsheets, and databases proficiently.
• Handle sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity.
Qualifications:
• Proven bookkeeping experience.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software (QuickBooks, Sage, etc.
).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is advantageous.
