Candid is seeking a motivated team player who is driven to connect the social sector with the information they need to do good.

POSITION: Equitable Access Education Associate REPORTING TO: Senior Manager of Equitable Access Operations SUPERVISES: N/A SCHEDULE 35-hour work week, Monday through Friday LOCATION Flexible (remote or a hybrid schedule in one of Candid’s offices in New York, NY; Atlanta, GA; Cleveland, OH; or Williamsburg, VA).
In-person attendance is expected during our annual, weeklong all-staff summit.
Additionally, participation for in-person meetings is expected for most employees at least once per year.
In-person presence for Directors, Sr.
Directors, and AVPs is once per quarter.
COMPENSATION $36,000 - $48,000 (this range is for the NYC area and will be adjusted for other localities; additionally, factors like skills and experience will be considered) BENEFITS Health insurance (medical, dental, vision), retirement contribution with additional option for a match, paid life insurance & AD&D, paid leave time (PTO, bereavement, volunteer, holiday, parental), short-term and long-term disability, pre-tax transit, FSA, Supplemental insurance, Summer hours, PSLF Program eligible employer POSITION SUMMARY Candid’s Equitable Access team is responsible for identifying and addressing barriers that historically underrepresented groups may face in accessing funding and other resources.
This team will continually evaluate the extent to which Candid is ensuring nonprofits have equitable access to the networks, skills, and resources they need to deliver on their missions.
Successful initiatives will target chronic barriers where Candid is best positioned to alleviate those problems for these groups.
The Equitable Access Education Associate is passionate about delivering an exceptional educational experience so that all attendees receive the maximum value out of their engagement with Candid.
They possess a can-do spirit, a keen eye for detail, and a desire to do their part to support a thriving and empowered social sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES Provide administrative support for Candid’s education function, including scheduling and coordination of events, conducting research, assuring data quality, and preparation of presentation materials for Candid’s national educational programming and cohort offerings, signature events, and conferences.
Manage logistical support for Candid’s education programs, including web conference delivery, registration and pre/post-event communications (Zoom); communication with speakers and participants; calendar maintenance on Candid Learning; program survey administration; and other logistical coordination as needed.
Assist with the management of Candid Learning’s on-demand digital library.
Edit and/or update recordings and descriptions as needed.
Administer Learning Management System, including uploading/updating content, analytics and custom reporting.
Contribute to the development of innovative partnerships, prototypes and experiments designed to address barriers to funding disproportionately faced by historically underrepresented nonprofits.
Proactively communicate status, surface roadblocks to completing work, and request assistance when needed.
Support department and division activities with an “all-hands-on-deck” spirit by performing other duties and special projects, as requested.
REQUIREMENTS Qualities Proven self-motivation, intrinsically self-directed, resourceful, adaptative, with an innovative spirit and a clear vision for improving processes and increasing efficiency Ability to work harmoniously and collaboratively within a remote team that is spread out across the country in different time zones Excellent communication skills (oral and written) with the ability to express complex ideas clearly.
Comfortable communicating in-person, as well as through video conferencing, phone, and email Proven commitment to excellent customer service, user experience, and track record of engaging partners, enhancing their membership experience, and building online and offline communities.
Passion for the use of data, research, and technology to improve the practice of philanthropy A demonstrated ability to work well with diverse constituencies and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders Flexibility to manage change effectively, demonstrating agility and perseverance with relation to changing approaches and priorities Willingness to perform other duties and special projects as needed/requested.

Skills A college degree preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered.
2+ years of experience in providing direct customer service/success.
Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud, Microsoft 365 (advanced Excel proficiency is a must), JIRA, and Zoom proficiency strongly preferred.
Experience with a Learning Management System (is a plus) Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable communicating in-person, as well as through video conferencing, email, and slack.
Demonstrated experience with project management and time management in a fast-paced, professional setting and experience collaborating cross-functionally.
Ability to identify trends and insights from both quantitative and qualitative data Knowledge of the nonprofit/social sector and some work experience in the sector preferred.
