Commercial Furniture Showroom located in Gramercy Park, Manhattan is seeking to hire a Temporary Showroom Manager to commit for roughly 3-months with potential to extend.
This role requires 5 days onsite from 8:30am-5pm.
Pay rate up to $21/hour.
Responsibilities:
* Open showroom space and act as first point of contact upon visitor entry
* Answer and direct incoming calls with discretion and professionalism
* Assist with FedEx packages
* Help create templates in Excel for tracking purposes
* Send follow-up and thank you emails to clientele
Qualifications:
* 1+ years' experience in an office setting; previous industry, hospitality or showroom experience a plus
* Friendly and outgoing personality with great written/verbal communication skills
* Customer-service mindset and positive attitude
* Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in MS Office Suite
