Implement The Brunswick School curriculum
Plan and implement activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs of students
Develop culturally appropriate programs and activities
Develop activities that introduce math, literacy and science concepts
Assess students actively and provide written documentation of assessments to parents/director bi-monthly
Meet the individual needs of each child
Communicate with parents in a professional, customer-centric, manner
Manage and train assistant teachers in the classroom
Required Skills and Experience
Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education or Related Field
Bachelors Degree in Education or Related Field will be accepted in conjunction with at least 3 years of experience in education as a lead teacher.
Associates Degree in Education in combination with at least five years teaching experience in an early childhood center as a lead teacher will also be considered
Must be willing to work flexible hours
Able to lift 40 lbs, walk, squat/kneel, sit on floor, see, hear, speak with children to ensure children’s health and safety
