*Check-In Host / Customer Experience Specialist*
We are Manhattan's first ever live game show that's open to the public.
To make this experience truly exceptional, we are looking for a Customer Experience & Venue Management Specialist to be the friendly face that people see when they walk through our doors as well as handle internal tasks pertaining to any guest inquiries & upkeep of the venue for events held in the space during the weekdays.

Top-tier hospitality is crucial to the success and excitement of this experience as we want customers to feel like they are MVP’s (before, during and after game play)!
*We’re Looking for Someone Who is:*
* Incredible at greeting people, starting conversations and making connections
* Interested or has had experience in the hospitality industry
* Ready to help when needed
* Intuitive with strong interpersonal skills that can pay attention to/keep track of small details
* Willing and able to wear many hats and work with a small team
* Ability to multitask
* Able to respond quickly to unplanned situations
* Familiar with working with Google Suite, and ability to learn softwares quickly
* Organized & can improvise during unpredictable situations
*IRL, Your Day to Day:*
* Greeting players & handling check-ins
* Working the door to ensure guests fill out the health screening form & checking for proof of vaccination
* Scanning customer tickets, logging ticket purchasers name, & keeping track of customer information in our check-in sheet
* Providing customer assistance before, during and after the game
* Observing the guests during the entire game to assist in any issues
* Knowing the ins and outs of our customer playbook and embodying best practices
* Preparing the prizes for the weekend game shows
Online, Your work entails:
* Being trained to managing the ticketed platform
* Updating the check-in sheet weekly (ticket purchasers name, notes for special occasions, etc.
) for the upcoming weekend
* Being trained on how to respond to customer inquiries (via emails and calls)
* Booking the staff for each show (hosts, check-in employees, cleaners)
* Venue upkeep & Orders (ordering cleaning supplies, prizes for the weekend games, & assisting in any event-related orders)
* Staying on top of inventory for events held in the space
* Working with the team to come up with ways to improve the in person & online experience accordingly (your input is essential)!
Requirements:
* Strong Interest or Experience in the hospitality industry (restaurant host / hostess, front desk agent)
* Strong email & phone communication skills
* Experience with internal & external logistical tasks
* Weekends
Always a plus & nice to have:
* Is super social (you have inside jokes with practically everyone)
* A team player
* Can handle last-minute situations / quickly think of solutions during unpredictable events
