Warehouse Associate/Driver

Steeldeck® NY provides high-end, platform solutions to the special events market.

*Position Requirements :* * Recent forklift experience and a current forklift license.
* Valid driver's license, a good driving record and experience driving 24’0 trucks (CDL not required though preferred).
* Knowledge of New York City + Tri-State area roads & highways a bonus.
* Able to lift up to 65 lbs comfortably.
* Flexible schedule and able to work nights & weekends, as needed.
* Able to apply attention to detail to all assigned tasks & communications.
* Punctual, professional, a team player, with the ability to interact well with clients & coworkers.
*Position Responsibilities :* * Read rental/sales documentation and pull and prepare equipment to be sent out.
* Maintain and coordinate troubleshooting of equipment.
* Load & unload trucks in a safe and efficient manner in the warehouse and on-site.
* Deliver and install equipment to jobs within the tri-state area.
* Basic building maintenance (sweeping, snow removal, dumpsters, etc) *Preferred Qualifications:* * General stagecraft experience or familiarity with theatrical equipment.
* Excellent organizational & problem solving skills.
* Previous warehouse experience in the special events industry.
