*Job Description:*
* The Metal Manufacturing Engineering Manager is in a mission-critical position.
* They plan, direct, and coordinate the activities of the engineering department as it pertains to facilitating efficient manufacturing operations across the organization.
* They also apply their knowledge of materials and engineering theory and methods to design, integrate and improves manufacturing systems or related processes.
*Qualifications:*
* Minimum 5-10 Years management experience in contract manufacturing in a metal shop environment.
* Degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology or equivalent, or a minimum of ten years of related experience and training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* In-depth knowledge of ISO9001 / ISO13485 QMS, and FDA requirements.
* Knowledge of EPA and OSHA requirements
* Experience with precision, low to mid volume machining and assembly equipment, tooling, fixturing, and gauging.
* Experience with PFMEA, CAPA and GD&T.
* Working knowledge in the use of Mastercam or equivalent software to program CNC equipment and model creation.
* Computer skills required: E2 MRP Systems; Microsoft Office Suite; Project Management Software; Ability to write and send E-mails to peers, reports, customers, and suppliers as needed.
*Other Responsibilities:*
* Directly supervises up to 10 team members within the Engineering department.
* Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
* Responsibilities include interviewing, training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $90,000.
00 - $110,000.
