The Compliance Manager is responsible for managing a variety of internal and external audit related activities including conducting audits and assisting programs in responding to external audits.
In collaboration with the Director of Quality Assurance and Deputy Director of Quality Assurance, assist in the development of program-based policies and procedures.
Oversee a variety of internal audits aimed at ensuring compliance with funder requirements, CUCS expectations for good care, and agency policy.
Oversee the monitoring and tracking of the implementation for corrective action plans.
Provide targeted training to programs to address issues identified in audits.
Lead the compliance for Low Income Tax Credit Housing (LIHTC) requirements by engaging in activities such as monitoring routine reports generated by partner agencies, chairing Asset Management Compliance Committee, liaising with external entities regarding compliance issues, ensuring partner agencies are compliant with annual reporting.
Complete annual HPD CoC Grant Monitoring for applicable programs.
Assist programs to respond to and prepare for a variety of external audits including ensuring CUCS provides the correct materials and responds to citations appropriately.
Consult with senior agency staff and the Committee for Equity, Inclusion and Belonging, to inform the focus of compliance activities as it relates to programs activities.
Assist in the overall management of the various CUCS Incident Review Committees Use CUCS’s multiple EMRs effectively to generate reports and data for the purpose of supporting compliance, reporting to funders, and high-quality work.
Distribute applicable reports to stakeholders.
Supervises the Compliance Specialist.
Perform other job-related functions as assigned.
• Masters of Social Work or Masters in Mental Health Counseling • LMSW, LCSW or LMHC required • Three years relevant post masters experience • Experience in a Medicaid billing program, preferred • Strong attention to detail • Excellent organizational skills • Strong clinical skills • Strong skills in Excel • Excellent overall computer literacy and desire to continue to develop these skills to meet the needs of the department • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Experience with electronic health records The physical demands described here are representative of those that are to be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
