Job Description:
BXCI is pursuing strategic investment initiatives that include building portfolio management and reporting capabilities for new and existing asset classes including developing innovative structured solutions for insurance capital.
The candidate will work closely with the senior portfolio manager to oversee all aspects of the Insurance Direct Lending portfolios, including ratings, structuring, and investment management.
Candidates can expect to work on numerous initiatives at a time given the lean size of the team.
The main areas of responsibility include:
Developing and enhancing BXCI investment capabilities across new asset classes while interacting with existing teams to facilitate seamless integration into the broader platform
Collaborating with the broader BXCI platform to construct tailored multi-asset product offerings for insurers
Helping to develop and manage portfolio management monitoring and reporting tools and initiatives to support investment management initiatives across BXCI
Assisting with financial modeling for portfolio structures
Qualifications:
Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent, have sound judgment, and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors.
The successful candidate must have:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other Quantitative fields
5+ years of work experience, preferably with client’s investment portfolios and strategies
Strong knowledge of credit
Strong financial analysis and modeling skills
A high degree of proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
Strong interpersonal skills to manage both internal and external business relationships
High degree of motivation and ability to work well independently
Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines and responsibilities

Expected annual base salary range:
$135,000 - $200,000
Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location.
For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
