seeks an Apps Dev Tech Lead Analyst for its Jersey City, New Jersey location.
Duties: Monitor and control all phases of applications development and enhancement processes from design to construction, testing and implementation.
Provide technical expertise on development and maintenance of regulatory financial reporting systems, primarily MiFID II, Securities Financing Transaction Regulation (SFTR) regulatory reporting, and Swiss reporting.
Interact with senior stakeholders to articulate project status and develop key milestones roadmap.
Manage stakeholder expectation in defining project scopes, goals and deliverables.
Gather requirements from business users and write JIRA stories, epics and tasks.
Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimation, and IT planning.
Write program documentation, train users, and provide code reviews.
Work closely with L2 and L3 Support teams in resolving critical production issues, analyzing business and system processes and industry standards.
Recommend and develop security measures during post-implementation analysis to ensure successful system design and functionality.
Provide technology consultations to users, clients and other technology groups.
Define operating standards and processes ensuring adherence to internal procedures, and involve in process improvement efforts.
Conduct daily standup and other AGILE ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement and retrospect.
Guide teammates providing inputs on application design and development.
Adjust priorities and elicit cooperation from management, business and other technology contacts as needed.
A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Engineering (any), Computer Science or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Developer, Analyst Developer, Team Lead, Project Lead, Software Engineer or related position in the financial services or investment banking industry.
Must have 2 years of experience with Java & J2EE; SQL, Sybase, IQ, DB2; HIVE MongoDB; SPARK; Scala; Unix; REST Services; Spring Framework, Spring Boot; Maven; Design Pattern; Drools; XML, JAXB; Jenkins; Junit & FitNesse.
