*DELI MANAGER*
Gristedes and D’Agostino’s, the largest and most iconic grocery stores in New York, owned by family-based business, Red Apple Group, is looking for Deli Managers and Deli Clerks to oversee our daily operations and meet store goals while providing excellent customer service.
*JOB DESCRIPTION:*
* Oversees all daily operations of the deli.
* Responsible for managing the daily activities of employees to improve sales performance and supervising employees in various duties including serving, packaging, and operating counters.
* Train and develop deli staff.
* Assist in the training, coaching and performance management of employees to ensure excellent customer service.
* Assign tasks to ensure the store is clean, adequately stocked, and organized.
* Ensures quality and freshness of products and merchandises according to guidelines or layout.
* Provides feedback to Store Manager.
* Adheres to government regulations, company guidelines and health regulations.
* Respond to inquiries and complaints from both customers and employees.
* Monitor and maintain stock inventory levels to avoid stock problems.
* Create positive work environment.
*REQUIREMENT/SKILLS:*
* Excellent leadership/interpersonal skills
* Strong written/organizational skills
* High School or equivalent
* Ability to work flexible shifts, as required, (day, evening, weekend, holidays)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.
00 - $25.
00 per hour
