We are looking to hire a passionate and highly experienced toddler educator to lead activities and program for children ages 12 to 24 months.
The Lead Group Toddler Teacher for our facility will serve as a delegate for TLE Astoria, ensuring that our philosophy, quality, and care are being effectively implemented at our school.
The Lead Toddler Teacher will work closely with the other toddler teachers and classrooms to develop a careful and creative arts-integrated early childhood education program.
We want a teacher is a creative and entrepreneurial team player that is passionate about working with children and families.
They are confident, outgoing, organized, and self-driven, and are excited at the prospect of developing and growing with more teachers with a tight-knit team.
Role Responsibilities:
Overall classroom management: leading/creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where children can play and learn.
Serve as a role model to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning
Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their children’s latest adventures and achievements through a variety of avenues, including mobile apps and personal discussions.
Build relationships with families and coworkers to create an inviting environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
Minimum Qualifications Needed:
An associated degree in early childhood education
OR
A CDA and currently enrolled in an early childhood education Associates program
OR
High School Diploma with 5 years of experience in a licensed child care program
Must meet state specific guidelines for the role
Must be vaccinated against Covid-19
