The Minerals Sports Club is looking for a friendly, upbeat, organized, and responsible individual with a passion for hospitality and customer service and a strong desire to help guests and members.
Responsibilities:
Ensure all encounters with guests and staff members are friendly and service-oriented.
Respond positively and quickly to guests’ concerns and correct potential challenges before they affect guests.
Ensure all team members are treated with dignity and respect.
Follows procedures to maintain the safety and security of all team members, guests, and company assets (equipment, supplies).
Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations always meet guest expectations in your department.
Must maintain department record logs.
Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition.
The department is organized through personal inspection, following the department’s preventative maintenance programs, and performing the department checklist walk as directed.
Ensure all products are received in the correct unit count and condition.
Ensure the efficient operation of the sports club department, focusing on the resort's excellent service and cleanliness standards.
Promotes positive guest, employee, and public relations with all.
Promotes a spirit of teamwork both within the sports club and around the resort.
Collaborate with other department leaders and the executive team.
Handle guest issues or concerns promptly.
Ensure all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspection, along with following up with the head trainer regarding the preventative maintenance program.
Participate in the MOD program as scheduled by the General Manager.
Participate in the detailed property walk program as the General Manager schedules.
Updates the Crystal Springs website with all current fitness class information.
Attend the daily standup meeting with the General Manager to review the daily needs of the resort
Interview, hire, onboard, set up training plans, and follow up on training with each new hire.
Train, coach, and support team members to ensure their continued success.
Ensures proper inventory and submits orders for supplies as needed.
Additional tasks as needed.
Requirements:
Must speak, read, write, and understand English.
Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must possess basic computational ability.
Must have a working knowledge of Visual Club Mate, Maestro, Heath, ADP, Procurement Software, and Microsoft Office.
Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Crystal Springs Hotel Standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
Must maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
American Red Cross: Lifeguard Management Certification (Required)
Certified Pool and Spa Operator Certification (Preferred)
Able to handle multiple tasks quickly and efficiently.
Management experience.
Several years of experience working in a Fitness Center.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must have weekend and holiday availability.
