As a Supervisor (within Shipping and Receiving), you will plan, oversee, and direct the activities of the personnel engaged in supply chain operations associated with receiving and delivering critical medical supplies.
This leader will be responsible for:
establish work schedules and priorities ensuring effective utilization of personnel.
address job-related inquiries, respond to issues, and take corrective actions.
recommend and implement personnel actions as required.
interview, hire, coordinate training, and evaluate the performance of subordinate personnel.
identify continuous improvement opportunities, assist with the development of departmental policies and procedures, and upon approval, implement them in order to enhance operations.
monitor staff compliance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements and take action as needed to drive compliance.
coordinate appropriate Quality Assurance programs and conduct follow-ups to ensure the effectiveness of operations.
make recommendations to facilitate or improve administrative systems and operations.
act as the liaison between Supply Chain and clinical staff regarding patient care supply and needs.
represent the department in internal, external, and cross-enterprise meetings.
The leader, from time to time, will need to assist with operational work (i.

, receiving supplies, delivering supplies, etc.
), will need to be able to push and pull carts up to 75lbs, and must be able to ride elevators.
Preferred Criteria:
Supply Chain technology literacy
Labor relations experience
Required Criteria:
High School Diploma or GED
Three to five years of previous work-related experience
Windows based computer literacy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
