Job Description: Within the broader Digital Informatics and Technology Solutions (DigITs) organization, the Product Management team oversees product strategy, execution and adoption for large scale digital solutions that support MSK employees, clinicians, researchers and health consumers.
We empower our clinicians and patients with digital tools that support the best outcomes, and we support our researchers in their efforts to forge new territory in precision oncology.
We are hiring for a Senior Director Product Management.
We are looking for a candidate that has thorough knowledge of the product management lifecycle, a proven track record guiding digital solutions and experience building and guiding impactful teams in an agile environment.
As a leader of the Product Management team, you will be responsible for mentoring and creating the right environment for Product Managers to thrive and for developing and overseeing a portfolio of digital solutions to support MSKs strategy and priorities from strategy through execution and adoption.
You will: Collaborate closely with business leaders to align digital strategy with overall business goals, encouraging a shared vision and consensus on priorities.
Translate these priorities into actionable cases and executable plans.
Take charge of the portfolio-level digital product roadmap, overseeing the entire lifecycle from initiation and planning to delivery and adoption.
Ensure accountability for product execution and successful launch activities.
Validate product ideas and establish a balanced framework for measuring the business impact of digital initiatives.
Engage with partners to resolve conflicts and make informed decisions on trade-offs between scope, budget, and timeline considerations.
Function as a senior leader within the organization, serving as a subject matter expert and advocate for the product management function.
Cultivate and sustain relationships across Digital/IT and among senior MSK leaders.
Foster the development of a robust team of product managers, making mentoring, process enablement, training, and ongoing coaching top priorities.
Instill a strong product culture, promoting consistent and repeatable delivery.
Drive continuous improvement in team workflows, focusing on key areas such as product mindset, agile development, analytics and competitive intelligence, as well as launch planning and success measurement.
You have: 15+ years of digital product management experience leading product teams, creating strategic product roadmaps and working with cross-functional teams Demonstrated experience leading and building teams of managers with an attitude of continuous improvement and openness to feedback in an Agile environment.
SAFe certification is a bonus Strong collaboration and influencing skills Strategic orientation and the ability to synthesize customer feedback, market trends and collaborators perspective to define a clear vision of the future A ‘getting things done’ mind-set, a proven executor who drives to exceed goals with outstanding organizational skills A demonstrated track record partnering with architecture, engineering, design to ensure alignment and create a shared sense of purpose Proven experience leading sophisticated initiatives in a fast-paced environment Pay Range $234,200.
