Overhead Crane Operator

Overhead Crane Operator The Crane Operator is responsible for pulling slab orders accurately and safely utilizing an overhead crane.
Experience with use of overhead crane and clamp truck with boom attachment is a must.
Basic knowledge of stone shop operations and fabrication is a plus.
Wage is commensurate with experience.
Full time with comprehensive benefit package.
Certification required to operate machinery will be arranged by employer.
‌ Essential Duties and Responsibilities:‌Prepare slabs for shipment.
* Unload slabs from containers.
* Arrange slabs utilizing overhead crane.
* Operating forklift and boom as needed.
* Maintain a clean and safe slab area for staff and customers.
* Perform additional duties as required and or requested.
‌Qualification Requirements: * 2+ years overhead crane operation experience.
* Good communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
Plus: * Stone industry experience * Previous delivery truck operation experience * NetSuite software experience ‌ Physical Demands: ‌The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The employee must occasionally lift, pull, and move up to 50 pounds.
